The convention halls of the Capital Hilton were a buzz as the Nation’s Mayors gathered for the 85th Winter Meeting, hosted by The United States Conference of Mayors. Curtis Cello, Director of Field Services for Partner America, was in attendance and was a featured speaker during the event.
“I’ve heard business owners say no one cares about small business in America any longer,” Cello said, while describing the stresses of the Nation’s small business owner community. “Though trust and confidence in government at the Federal level continues to drop, State and Local has remained constant,” he continued.
Pointing out the integral role Mayors play in the success of small business and local economic growth, Cello emphasized the importance of the Partner America program and its continued operation of providing “help to business owners with operational issues and a need to improve profitability, sales and cash flow.”
Entering its 18th year of operation, the effectiveness of the Partner America program is based solely on the support of Mayors, and their determination to improve the environment and effectiveness of their small business community.
