Small Business Advocate Award: Mayor Lovely Warren

Small Business Advocate Award: Mayor Lovely Warren

On April 20th, 2017, Mayor Lovely A. Warren, of the City of Rochester, was recognized by the United States Conference of Mayors and the Partner America Program for her hard work and dedication to her local small business community.

Since her election to office in 2014, Mayor Warren, through the Mayor’s Office of Innovation and Strategic Initiatives, has played a pivotal role in immensely important programs such as the Kiva Rochester Crowd Funded Microloan Program, which seeks to provide 0% interest loans to “small business owners and entrepreneurs to launch and grow their business.”

In recognition of these efforts, and her focus on bringing a robust small business economy to the City of Rochester, Mayor Warren was presented the Partner America Small Business Advocate Award at the City Hall Atrium. If you are a business owner in the City of Rochester, this was an invaluable opportunity to meet and speak with your Mayor, as well as learn more about small business opportunities, methods and practices.
