On May 18th, 2017 the United States Conference of Mayors and the Partner America Program will honor Mayor Rick Gray, of Lancaster, PA, for his dedication and hard work in the interests of Small Business.
Having been first elected in 2005, Mayor Gray has been an essential asset to his cities downtown renaissance, bringing a supportive focus to delivering unique cultural, dining, entertainment and shopping experiences for the residents and visitors of his community. These efforts have supported the attraction of nearly 8.34 million visitors in 2016, generating $2.64 billion, and assisting in the development of more than 24,000 county jobs, according to Discover Lancaster.
In recognition of this, and his over twelve year mission as Mayor to promote small business, Mayor Gray will be presented the Partner America / US Conference of Mayor’s Small Business Advocate Award.
